Developer's Code of Conduct In an attempt to maintain some level of livability in our neighborhood during the current explosion of construction, the River North Residents Association has put together a Developers Code of Conduct. Through a series of meetings with neighborhood developers and our Alderman, Burt Natarus, the following Code of Conduct was established.
In an attempt to ensure that each project is cooperating with the code, we must all work together to report any violations. If a specific project is not cooperating, call the Project Contact as listed on the Development in River North page to report the offense. If a problem is not resolved or happens again, call Ald.
Natarus' office (312.744.3062) to register a complaint against the offending
developer and call the police at 911 to register a complaint. Noise - No noise producing construction to begin before 8:00AM
or continue after 7:00PM Debris - All projects to have a street sweeper on site daily Traffic Compliance - No trucks, cranes, or workers' vehicles allowed to block
streets Air Pollution - Must not affect the quality of air in the neighborhood as projects
continue simultaneously Lighting - Temporary street lights within 50' of someone's window
