RNRA Membership The primary concerns of the Association are improving and maintaining neighborhood security, infrastructure and amenities, encouraging responsible and well-managed commercial and residential real estate development and advocating and/or facilitating cooperative, respectful and mutually beneficial relationships between area residents, commercial entities and other stakeholders. Member Benefits As a member of the River North Residents Association, you provide critical support for our community organization and have a voice in neighborhood issues. Individual and homeowners association members receive community updates, participate in public forums and are invited to attend special events. Individual Membership Any natural person shall be eligible for individual membership if he is at least 18 years of age and lives, or owns residential property that is located, within the boundaries of the Association as set forth in Article II and is not part of, or represented by, a homeowners association. At such time as any individual member’s residence becomes part of, or represented by, a homeowners association, the individual’s membership shall be discontinued and the homeowners association shall be invited to join the Association. In such cases, the individual member’s prorated dues shall be refunded as applicable.
Any individual member may cast one quarter (1/4) of one vote on all association matters considered by the Board, with a maximum of one (1) full vote per property. Individual members pay annual membership dues of $125.00 (25% of homeowners association dues).
Complete and submit the Individual Membership Application Homeowners Association Membership Any homeowners association representing multiple residential units located within the boundaries of the Association as set forth in Article II shall be eligible for membership. Each such organizational member shall be represented by an Authorized Representative. Such representation shall be submitted by the organizational member in writing, giving the name of its representative to the Secretary of the Association and authorizing him to act on behalf of the member organization in all Association matters. Such organizational members shall not change the designation of their Authorized Representative except in writing. If no Authorized Representative is designated, the President of the homeowners association shall be deemed its Authorized Representative. Any authorized representative of a homeowners association member may cast one vote on all association matters considered by the Board. Homeowners association members pay annual membership dues of $500.00, unless they include less than fifty (50) residential units, in which case the annual dues are $250.00.
