RNRA Mission

The River North Residents Association (RNRA) is a non-profit corporation established in 1997.  Its mission is to enhance the quality of life for those residing in the area of Chicago bordered by Chicago Avenue on the North, Wells Street on the East and the Chicago River on the South and West.

Primary Objectives

• The thoughtful and farsighted management of commercial, residential and public real estate development.

• The improvement and maintenance of neighborhood security, infrastructure and amenities.

• The preservation and enhancement of local property values and of River North’s reputation as one of Chicago’s safest and most diverse, vibrant and desirable communities.

Guiding Principles

• To constructively engage residents, city officials, local businesses and other community organizations on issues of mutual interest.

• To encourage and/or facilitate resident / commercial / municipal relationships based on integrity, cooperation, respect and mutual accountability.

• To act at all times in the best interests of our members and in a manner reflective of the highest standard of professional conduct.
